Staff – Mid-Level Geologist/Environmental Engineer Position

Compensation:  DOE

Full Time : Monday – Friday

Associated Environmental Group (AEG) is a well-established environmental consulting firm in Olympia.  Our company is a dynamic firm with an engaging and supportive office environment.  AEG offers a wide array of services and specializes in petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents Site Characterization, UST Site Assessments, Feasibility Studies, and Site Remediation.  Our clientele includes the private sector and local government agencies.  AEG is seeking an energetic, independent, and detail-oriented staff to mid-level Geologist/Environmental Engineer to join our firm.

This position requires a candidate with a wide range of project experience from Phase I and II ESAs, UST Site Assessments, and Site Characterization.  Knowledge of MTCA is a must. 

Responsibilities: 1) provide proposals/cost estimates and implement soil and groundwater investigations; 2) manage projects including field work oversight, scope, schedule, and budget; 3) interact with clients; 3) preparation of technical reports and deliverables; 4) compliance project meetings with Ecology and other regulatory agencies.

Skills: Experience in remediation techniques such as SVE, bioremediation, etc. is a plus.  AutoCAD knowledge and/or experience in Asbestos Survey is preferred.

Requirements:

- BS in geology, engineering, or related degree.  MS is a plus.

- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.

- Strong technical writing skills and good organizational skills
